2023-film05 Sources of Wessels Insolvency Law

In this fifth film (out of eight) the theme is still the Dutch series ‘Wessels Insolvency Law’. After a period of preparation (since 1995) and writing (since 1997) the first four books were published in 1999 and 2000. I have handed over the fifth edition of the 10 volumes series in 2022 to a new editorial board. With Gert-Jan Boon, Leiden University, I am talking about topics such as bringing together case law of all levels, legal sources used, the amount of research done, about the classifications according to LJN and ECLI, transitional legislation, outdated terminology and how the series is read and used. This fifth film is released on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. Thereafter a new film every Friday and Tuesday. The eighth and final film will be published on Friday, June 9, 2023.
